قام صاحب السمو الملكي الامير اندرو «دوق يورك» بزيارة لمجموعة الاتصالات السعودية التقى خلالها برئيس المجموعة المهندس سعود بن ماجد الدويش ورئيس الاتصالات السعودية جميل بن عبدالله الملحم وذلك ضمن زيارته للمملكة والتي تهدف الى توطيد العلاقات التجارية والاستثمارية بين المملكة المتحدة والمملكة العربية السعودية.
وقد اطلع الامير اندرو على الامكانيات الكبيرة للمجموعة وخصوصا مركز الملك خالد للتحكم بالشبكة واستمع كذلك لشرح عن خدمة الجيل الرابع 4G LET، كون الاتصالات السعودية تعتبر اول من اطلق هذه الخدمة بالمنطقة مؤخرا، كما شاهد التقنية العالية لخدمة التلفزيون التفاعلي (انفجن) والمميزات الخاصة بها.
